This gorgeous, modern, upmarket hotel has a claim to fame -- it is the tallest hotel in the world. So that makes it reason enough for one to want to experience a stay here. A beautiful, modern hotel, set in the heart of the city of lights. Aesthetic rooms with dark wood, modern, clean lines, high ceilings, with huge heavy doors that give the room an expensive feel. And when you're on the 66th floor with an awe-inspiring view of the Dubai Water Canal, the city and the oceans beyond, all you ever want to do is sit by the window and stare out at the beautiful world all day, every day.
This luxurious five star property acting as a symbol of ‘New Dubai’ is the perfect complement to the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa, just a short distance away.
Setting a distinction of what the future holds for this remarkable city, this hotel succeeds in leaving it's mark with the chic glass atrium of the lobby stuffed full of floral blooms, rooms promising high quality luxury living experiences, delicious cuisine to suit every taste in the form of 13 exclusive restaurants and bars.
My favourite of which are Prime68, the premier steakhouse restaurant, situated on the 68th floor, panoramic views of the city, niche white interiors, and the freshest cuts of meat and a full menu of superb side dishes.
And Vault, perched precariously on the 71st and 72nd floors of the hotel, which features stunning views of the Dubai cityscape as well as craft cocktails and finger food. I've been here on several trips to Dubai even before I decided to stay at the hotel, the music and vibe of this place on a weekend are everything posh one wants to experience in a luxurious city like Dubai.
Monolithic architecture, comfortable suites, mini electronic tablets for the rooms that set the room to different modes- soft lights for the spa mode, lush darkness for the night mode, warm touches of Middle Eastern hospitality like individually wrapped dates left behind on my pillow, immaculate marble bathrooms, a great river walk at the Al Jadaf Canal just next to the property with direct view of the colourful canal fountain, an impressive Turkish hammam and lush Spa named Saray Spa, tranquil hallways on each floor with round circular sofas provided to allow guests to admire the views from up in the clouds, impeccable service and an absolutely phenomenal JW Marriott stay experience- what more could I ask for?
